I went to kid cudi’s album release party for “man on the moon” on tuesday. Finally it came out!!! I’ve already got his new songs downloaded from when it leaked, but the sound is not as good as the real thing of course so I must buy the official album.

Most of the songs are slow and have a strong message. I like the way he picks words for lyrics. I really love his music. It calms me down and at the same time it gives me confidence.
A-trak was the DJ of the night (the manager of Jane Hotel told him he has to stop at midnight because there’s their own house DJ iwho was hired… what the f?!), and the venue was packed by a crowd that truly celebrate cudi’s new music. Cudi was cute as always wearing his big glasses on, smiling to everyone, giving love. Cool celebs like Kelis and Team Facelift showed up and added some excitement to the crowd. Then we moved on to gold bar after and the party went all night…

キッド・カディのニューアルバム” man on the moon”のリリースパーティーに行ってきました。遂に発売です！すでにリークされてしまった曲をダウンロードして聞いていた私ですがさすがに音質が悪く、やはり本物でなくてはいけません。
アルバムの大半はスローな曲調で、それぞれ深いメッセージがこめられています。彼の歌詞に使う言葉の使い方が素晴らしいです。聞いていて落ち着けると同時に自信が湧いてきます。
パーティーではA-trakがメインDJをつとめ（途中、ホテルのマネージャーが自分達のハウスDJが控えてるから１２時までに辞めてくれと言っていたのには驚きましたが）大盛り上がり。クラウドは本当にカディの新曲をお祝いしに来てる感じの暖かい雰囲気。途中、ケリース（”ミルクシェーク”で有名な）とティーム・フェイスリフトも参加してパーティーを一層盛り上げました。そしてその後はゴールドバーに移動、夜中パーティーは続くのでした。。
