It was very sweet of Ms. Claw to send my angel these outfits! I found it’s not easy to find cute, casual clothing for babies. Especially newborns.
Maybe it’s time for Cream to start kid’s line as well?!

Genius fashion designer, Alexander McQueen passed away.
I once walked on his runway show in London when I used to model, and that was an amazing experience in my life.
I was talking with my friend Elle the other day about the crazy shoes he created (lady gaga wore them in her video as well) and we both agreed there has to be someone who has such a creative vision in the fashion industry otherwise fashion will be so boring.
This incident is a huge loss in the industry for sure.
Everybody who was influenced by him, even those who hated his style, will miss his unlimited talent in the future…

天才デザイナー、アレクサンダー・マックイーンが他界した。
ロンドンでモデル時代に彼のショーに参加したことがあるが、数々のランウェイのなかでも最も印象に残った経験である。
ついこの間スタイリストの友達、エルちゃんとマックイーンのクレイジーな靴（レイディー・ガガがプロモビデオでも履いている）について話してたところで、好き嫌いという域を超えて、ファッション業界にはそれくらいにクリエイティブなことをするデザイナーがいてくれないとどれだけつまらない世界になるかを語り合っていたところ。
彼のデザインを嫌いであったとしても、彼を失ったことはファッション界にとって大きな痛手であり、それはきっと暫くたって人々が痛感することは間違いないだろう。
本当に悲しいニュースだ。

I’ve always respected Jil Sander’s work no matter who bought her company or what.
I like her even better this time since she collaborated with Uniqlo and her design is affordable. I bought a nice, long, wool coat in khaki color for $150!!!
I also found a feature T magazine featuring her interview with the photos of her house in Germany shot by herself.
Very inspired.
会社が買い取られようがなんだろうが、ジル・サンダーのお仕事はいつも尊敬しておりました。そして今回のユニクロとのコラボレーションで彼女のデザインが素晴らしく御安いお値段で手に入れることができるとは、なんとも有り難いお話でした。早速ウールのカーキ色のロングコートを１５０ドルで購入。ありえない安さ。。
先週のTマガジン（New York Times のファッション紙）のオンラインでも彼女の特集が組まれていて、彼女自身が撮ったドイツの自宅の写真やインタビューが掲載されています。

Cream of the Crop 2009 fall/winter collection has finally launched!!!
This time, the theme is “The Age of Innocence”. You’re only as old as you feel. With graphics inspired by old school games like cee-lo and lego these shirts remember the lost days of hopscotch and double dutch on the sidewalk.
Bringing upcoming Danish star ” Oh Land” as a model, our campaign looks completed. Not only her beauty, but her inner beauty which creates her songs matches perfectly to the theme.
Look books have been updated on our website and an online shop will be coming up within a couple of weeks so cop them and feel the innocence in you!
クリーム・オブ・ザ・クロップ２００９年秋冬コレクションがついに発表されました。今回のテーマは”The Age of Innocence (純粋無垢な年頃）”。自分自信が年齢を定めるもの （大人になっても子供の頃のような純粋な心を忘れずにいること）。子供の頃によく遊んだダイスゲーム、レゴ、OXゲームのグラフィックは近所の道ばたでやったケンケンパや縄跳びなどをも思い出させます。
全米デビュー寸前のデンマーク出身の歌手Oh Landをモデルの迎え、今回のキャンペーンが完成しました。彼女の外見だけでなく美しい曲をつくり出す内面の美しさが、今回のテーマとみごとに重なって素敵な写真ができあがりました。

It started with lots of pale pink and light denim combinations. she’s definitely established a “charlotte style” as american, nostalgic, “girly but not too sweet”, stylish clothing. I particularly liked the black beaded shoulder (reminds me a little bit of michael jackson) vest and long black hammer pants with studs on the side.
The show was very organized, the music was great (of course samantha ronson played!), it was really successful. Congratulations Charlotte!
やわらかいピンク色と薄いデニムのコンビネーションでショーが始まりました。アメリカンノスタルジックなガーリーでありながらも甘すぎずスタイリッシュな”シャーロット・スタイル”を確立した彼女。肩の部分がビーズでかたどられたベスト（ちょっぴりマイケルを彷彿させる）と横にスタッズがついた黒いハマーパンツが気に入りました。
ショー自体は無駄なく仕切られ、曲は最高（勿論サマンサがDJ）で大成功でした。シャーロットおめでとー！

Surprisingly, new york fashion week’s location didn’t change to lincoln center and is being held at the same usual spot @bryant park this time as well. Today I went to see Mara Hoffman’s spring/summer 2010 show.
Her signature, printed and draped clothes, were amazingly beautiful. She shared the stage with other designers, and one of them was called “whitney eve” which i found out when she came out at the end of the show is designed by a reality TV star, Whitney Port from “hills” and ” the city”. no wonder there were all the cast from the tv show was in the audience…

リンカーンセンターに移動すると思いきや、今回もまたブライアント・パークでNYファッションウィークが開催されることになりました。初日の今日、マラ・ホフマンの春夏コレクションを観に行ってきました。
彼女の確立されたスタイルであるプリント柄とドレーピングが効いた洋服は素晴らしく美しかったです。ステージをシェアーしたブランドで”ウィットニー・イブ”というブランドは、最後に彼女が登場して発見したのですがあのリアリティーショー”ヒルズ”や”ザ・シティー”に出演のウィットニー・ポートがデザイナーのブランドでした。どうりで番組のキャストほぼ全員客席にいたか。。
